MEALS
San Pedro Meals on Wheels delivers nourishing meals to homebound members of our Harborside communities. Meals on Wheels is a service for anyone unable to prepare or shop for a nutritious meal, regardless of reason. Our purpose is to supply nourishing meals at a minimum cost to people unable to cook, drive, shop, or leave their home for an extended period of time.
San Pedro Meals on Wheels, Inc., is a not-for-profit corporation, community based, founded in 1972 and operated by a Board of Directors. Since 1972, nearly 2,000,000 quality meals have been served by San Pedro Meals on Wheels. With the help of volunteers, financial donations, and food donors, the cost of each delivery is $9.50 for lunch and dinner. A 3.5% charge will be added to credit card transactions. If you can’t get to the grocery store, have financial issues, or if you can’t cook your dinner, then San Pedro Meals on Wheels is for you.
